In 2024 Lombard Medical Limited was acquired by MicroPort Endovastec. Since then, we have slowly been aligning our businesses and now pleased to launch commercially under the MicroPort Endovastec name. Congratulations to the team in Greece for the #first_in_world relining using our Meridian™ FEVAR Endograft system. Delighted to share the #first_in_world case of relining a Nellix with a Meridian endograft. Patient was treated with Nellix in 2017 and recent follow up showed migration and an anterior type 1A endoleak reperfusing the sac without enough distance between the Nellix and the renal arteries to properly deploy any device. A custom built Meridian endograft with two fenestrations for the renal arteries seemed to be the best and possibly only viable endovascular solution for this 85-year-old CAD patient. Final angiogram demonstrated an excellent result with exclusion of the endoleak and patency of the renal arteries. Many thanks to my collaborators for this case Christos Gkekas, Kanellos Giakoumakis, minas kakampouras as well as Lombard Medical Limited, Paul Hayes, Jacopo Torresan and Andreas Tzouras for helping with planning and supporting this very interesting and challenging case. Once again, Mediterraneo Hospital with its new Hybrid Operating Theatre equipped with the Phillips Azurion Imaging Suite featuring the invaluable Fusion technology proved to be the perfect place for our complex aortic endovascular procedures. Our EVAR workhorse!    Whilst in the Workshop arena, Alexander Zimmermann & Benedikt Reutersberg are using our thoracic device, Hercules™ to show how to prepare an on-table fenestration during their Physician-modified Procedures course.
