
London, 16 January 2008 – Pursuant to the fundraising announced on 20 December 2007 and the approval by shareholders of the resolutions at the Extraordinary General Meeting held on 14 January 2008, the Directors of Lombard Medical have subscribed for, in aggregate, 784,282 ordinary shares of 2p each in the Company at the issue price of 14p on the same terms as the other investors. Details of their subsequent shareholdings are set out in the table below. Dealing in these new ordinary shares on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange commenced today.
