Laser markings on the handle aid the physician with each stage of the procedure. The improved design and malleable, slimmer delivery system copes with tortuous iliacs and angulated necks.
Controllable deployment allows fine adjustment and precise positioning:
Visibility is clear under radiographic imaging with a continuous radiopaque marker around the entire proximal end of the implant, ensuring confident infra-renal placement.
Pusher rods provide clear orientation and give precise alignment marks for infra-renal placement.
The stent graft has also benefited from recent improvements – these include:
Electropolished wire will enhance the durability of the implant, while construction of the leg components has been modified to reduce deployment forces and the diameters of the delivery systems.
Cannulation is greatly improved by a large opening to the contralateral socket.
Finally, the range of sizes has been expanded to include a new, shorter implant of 81mm aortic length to the bifurcation point.
