Lombard Medical Technologies (LMT) is the holding company of a medical devices group that aims to become a leading developer of innovative solutions for the treatment of vascular and other diseases.
In particular LMT is:
| • | producing the next generation of vascular devices addressing the unmet needs of the aortic aneurysm market; and |
| • | targeting potential market opportunities valued at over $1 billion. |
The Group has sites in Didcot Oxfordshire, Ayrshire Scotland and Boston USA.:
| • | The Cardiovascular Devices Division developing and commercialising innovative devices to treat vascular conditions such as Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms (AAA); and |
| • | .Lombard Medical has sold the goodwill, contractual rights and intellectual property of its polymer coatings business to Bayer MaterialScience AG (“BMS”) with the remaining assets to be sold to Bayer Plc. November 2009.

The US trial for this product has been placed on hold as part of the board's strategy to conserve cash, whilst the company seeks partners to fund completion of the US trial and gain 510k approval for the product in the USA. |
